My polymer clay classes were a wonderful success, and now I am making samples for a more advanced class, as well as trying to finish a few pieces of my own to put on the website.

When I started this I new it was going to be a lot of work.  I had no idea.  Between trying to keep up with emails, blogging, and projects, I find myself trying to develop a system that works.  Let’s just say I am not quite there yet.

I knew I wanted to be a jewelry designer, but in starting my own business by myself, I have also become a photographer/photo editor, a web page manager, a lesson plan designer. . . Not to mention I’m still a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, etc.

My goals for this week are to blog at least one more time, finish some display pieces to show examples for classes, and finish at least one new project to add to the website.

I realize setting shorter term goals now has me much more driven than just the long term goals of my business plan.  So set short term goals, and hopefully those will get you to the long term ones.  This sounds obvious, but I’m surprised at the number of people who realize this much later than you’d think (including myself).
